Exploring automation in social media-based risk analysis

This section focuses on understanding the different roles that machines and humans play in the process of producing risk analysis using open-source information (with a special focus on social media). The section will mainly use literature review to understand the state-of-the-art in automatic different components of [intelligence] analysis such as source verification, content integration, risk identification etc. Artificial intelligence is already used in intelligence analysis to label imagery and sort through large sets of data, thus helping individuals identify the patterns in the noise. This section will look at how AI may change work for intel analysts, especially in what concerns analytical products based on open source information.
