The following migration-related policy recommendations are proposed for the European Council:
- Participate actively in the management of the CIPPMAA project by appointing one member to the CIPPMAA Steering Committee
- Support the European Commission in carrying out the improvements referred to in the EC Recommendations.
To implement the above recommendations the following guidelines are provided:
- Council to support the increase of financial resources for the proper project management of the entire MAAP project as required.
- Oversight by the Council of the MAAP project should not be limited to the statutory Annual Review. Instead, the Council should carry out reviews at regular intervals.
